Mustard in Mallorca

Dress: Random beach stall in Mallorca. Espadrilles: Market in Mallorca.
Bag Alexander Wang. Sunglasses: KISS.

Me and the boy took a road trip and found a gorgeous little beach. It was a tiny little cove with a beach shack selling drinks and kids running around naked and making sandcastles. We loved it. Half way through the day these two girls showed up with a bag full of dresses to sell. I was in my element. Sun, sea, sand AND shopping? Hell yeah.  I snapped up this mustard dress and wore it immediately.

You can find espadrilles in all the shoe shops in Mallorca. I got mine from a little shop in the town of Soller. The lady there would only talk to me in Spanish and I loved her for it. They were so cheap I ended up buying two pairs each for me and the boy and we walked around in matching shoes for the rest of the vacation.

I've been filming 'Victim' this week. I'll be shooting this until mid August and then back to LA :)

Gladiator

Dress: American Apparel. Gladiator sandals: River Island. Bag Alexander Wang.

This dress is great in hot and sticky weather. I bought it in New York last summer where it is hot and sticky beyond belief during the summer months. The low cut arm holes mean you get a lot of much needed ventilation. I love the slouchy silhouette and drapey material. It's the perfect vacation dress- you can roll it up in a bag and it will never crease.

I loooooooooved being in Mallorca! My only complaint is that it was over too soon. I could have easily spent the entire summer on the island just reading and eating chorizo but we had to return. I start shooting a film tomorrow. It's such a cool project. One of the writers was my cast mate in my first ever acting job. He's also acting in this film and it will be awesome to be working together again all these years later.

I always get really excited about the first day on new film.... it feels like the first day of school. I even pack my bag the night before ;)

Neon

Skirt: PINE. Cropped vest: American Apparel.
Clogs: Jeffery Cmpbell

Myself and the beautiful boy are on vacation in Spain. It's so nice to just do nothing and relax. We had a hectic month moving and decorating our new place and so  this vacation is a well needed rest.

We are staying in one of the nicest hotels that I've ever been to. Seriously. I've stayed in some nice places in my time but this place is beyond gorgeous. It has only six suites so the hotel fees very intimate and almost like it's your own house. Our suite is so pretty. You can see the tiled floor above. It's HUGE! It's bigger then my entire apartment in New York! The boy is taking lots of pictures of this place so I'll do a full post about it soon.

In clothes related news: This is the lightest I've EVER packed! We took just one case between us and I only packed things that could be rolled up. I feel very proud of myself :)

Adios my lovelies! x

Update: This is my hair in it's natural state. No blow drying, just wash and go. I haven't cut it but it's very curly naturally that's why it appears shorter... And of course there are no extensions in these pictures! :)

Winner

The winner of the 80's Purple competition is: Eirryn Porter/August Lovers.

It was so hard to choose! Lots of you picked the same items so in the end I narrowed it down to my favorite ones and then put your names in a hat! These dolce Vita Noah wedges were a popular choice and so was this dolce Vita silk romper. You all picked some very cute things!

Thank you all so much for taking the time to enter and read the blog.  I really enjoy doing these give aways for you... There will be more for sure!

Arrival

My oversized wayfarers arrived today. Still waiting on the tortoiseshell ones but if they're even remotely like these I'm gonna love them. I'm obsessed with huge shades at the moment and the darker the lens the better.

I've been a very lazy blogger this week :( The boy and I are living in a building site. We're half way through the decorating process and all my clothes are safely hidden away from the treacherous white paint. I'll try and squeeze an outfit post in soon.... Possibly from LoveBox this weekend! I cannot wait to see Grace Jones do her thang. Whoop whooop!

*Don't forget to enter the 80's purple competition . Free clothes. How can you resist!?

80's purple is a super cool online shopping destination that I've been aware of for a while now. They have an amazing selection of drool worthy items from various labels and their own in house 'purple lable' is pretty sick too. I've got my eye on this little baby:

Aquisistions

We moved over the weekend and I've spent the last few days in my denim cut offs and one of the boy's t.shirts... No need for you all to see that mess! Here's a shopping update instead...

After trawling the internet for what felt like a lifetime I finally found the sunglasses I've been lusting after. I've been in love with the Grey Ant Status glasses for a while but I haven't been able to find them in a shop so I could actually try them on. They're quite pricey so I figured trying them on first would be smart... I could not find them ANYWHERE and it drove me crazy! When I want something I am a woman on a mission.

The real deal Grey ant Status glasses on Beyonce

I found these Grey ant-alikes for a fraction off the price on ebay. I can't wait for them to arrive! I got both colours because they were so cheap. $6.99.

Grey ant-alikes from ebay

I also snagged this faux fur leopard coat from TopShop. I know it's the middle of summer but I couldn't resist!
You'll be seeing lots of pictures of me in this come autumn. I've already worn it around the house a couple of times because I'm so excited. That's normal, right?

*you can buy the grey ant-alike sun glasses from this ebay seller: here :)

Cut Offs and Lenny

Levi cut offs: Vintage. Lenny Kravitz t.shirt: Vintage.
'Tick' wedges: Jeffery Campbell.

This Lenny Kravitz t. shirt is one of the best things in my closet. I've worn it soooooo much! I wear it to auditions a lot. Not because I think it's lucky but because I feel so comfortable in it and when I'm comfortable, I'm confident. I've also been wearing these denim shorts a lot recently. It's been so hot here in London (not complaining!) and these are really easy to dress up or down.

We move into our new place on Sunday. We are so excited!
